Anomaly or Level 2 Scan

Service Description

Done b/w 18-23 weeks of pregnancy(i.e 5th month of pregnancy) to rule out most congenital malformations/defects detectable at this gestation. Growth of the baby is checked to see if it is corresponding to the dates. Position of the placenta, blood flow from the mother, amniotic fluid is also looked at. Features of chromosomal anomalies which are detectable on ultrasound are also checked. 3D/4D ultrasound can also be done.
